1. The agreement

These terms govern your use of desktoptools.net and any binary you purchase from us. By installing one of our tools, you agree to these terms.

2. License

When you buy a tool or the bundle, you receive a non-transferable license to run the binary on machines you personally use. Bundle licenses cover macOS and Windows binaries for the same person.

You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the binary. You may install it on as many machines as you personally use.

3. Updates

Single-tool licenses include free updates within the major version (v8.x). The bundle includes all new tools released within twelve months of purchase. Upgrades to a new major version (v9, v10) are offered at a discount to existing license holders.

4. Refunds

Email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions, no forms. We'd rather refund you than have you keep a tool that doesn't fit your work.

5. Warranty disclaimer

Our software is provided "as is". We test every release on real hardware (M2 Air, an old Intel MacBook, a Surface, a Lenovo) and don't ship known regressions, but we can't guarantee it works for every workflow on every machine. The refund policy is your safety net.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected license. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the software.

7. Changes

If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with the revised "last updated" date. Material changes also go out via email to bundle and team customers.
