// tools

Eight tools. Roughly 200MB total.

The catalog as it stands today. Each tool listed below ships as a single binary, signed and notarized for both macOS and Windows. Bundle owners get all eight plus the next twelve months of releases.

01

Native binaries

Swift / SwiftUI on macOS. Rust + WinUI 3 on Windows. No webview wrapper. No electron. The binary you download is the program.

02

Cold start under 20ms

We benchmark every release on M2 Air and a 4-year-old Intel laptop. If a tool regresses past 25ms cold start, we don't ship it. Period.

03

No telemetry

No analytics, no Sentry, no "anonymous usage". The only network call is the update check — and it ships behind a flag you can disable forever.

04

Rebindable everything

Every chord, every menu, every default — editable from one ~/.config/desktoptools/keys.toml file. Synced across the catalog.

05

Codesigned + notarized

Every binary signed with a paid Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Same for Windows: signed with a real EV certificate. No "right-click to open".

06

Read-only source access

Bundle and Team customers get the full git mirror. Not for forking — for auditing. You can see exactly what runs on your machine.
